After of nearly a year of limited action in the studio (two shoulder surgeries later) I am finally feeling optimistic for the Spring Season. Silk Obsessions workshops are back on the agenda. Starting small with just a couple for September/October, this is both a warm-up for me and for those wanting to be inspired again. Follow the links below to book your place. I am keeping it small 4-6 people only. Late start and an early finish so you can head out for an enjoyable lunch afterwards (we recommend a couple of the local wineries). All materials and processing included in the workshop price. I look forward to connecting with my fellow creative spirits soon.
And so it begins..... Committing to be in the studio for the duration. Excitement, trepidation. Expectation.
If nothing else it is a great reason to commit ones self to creativity for a significant block of time. How easily everything else gets in the way. My challenge (and it is always good to create purpose) this year is to sustain production of 2.7m lengths of hand painted fabrics. Exploring the potential of creating a new design for wearable items. Also challenging myself to get up to speed with social media and posting. Here goes. |
