In July 2009 we made the brave move to move back to where it began. The purpose built studio was completed. Affectionately known as the "Girls Shed", this space has provided the opportunity to develop further out creative range.
Nestled on a corner of our rural property Studio 4 has a peaceful ambience. A real escape from the outside world. Great aspects mean that one can relax and watch the seasons unfold, while endulging in creative expression.
Come and join us for a truely unique workshop experience.
Studio 3 - Station Road was our first chance to bring all the elements of creating and retail together. An opportunity to have office, design production, workshops and retail sales in the same location.
For three years we created a unique space having many visitors to both buy and experience the world of creative silk. .

Studio 2 - The Old Hospital Margaret River
Members of the Collective Guild in a Rivers of Silk painting workshop 2002
Studio 2 was located at the newly developed (2000) Old Hospital Complex Margaret River Community Centre. It was an incubation of an idea, where workshops could be held and creations flourish. A shared space it allowed the tiny seed of an idea to take hold and grow into what is now Rivers of Silk and Michelle Miller Designs.
The support of a community space (having moved from a spare room on the farm) meant that an isolated artist could feel connected and part of something bigger.
